Timeline of G.L. Heller Co.
1972: The company started in the basement by the current owners Gary and Jean Heller making special machines & parts.
1974: Moved into present location starting with a 4,000 sq. Ft. building on Industrial Parkway. The company continued making special machines, conveyors, and other miscellaneous machines
1980: G.L. Heller purchased their first CNC Milling Machine and their first CNC Lathe.
1987: In 1987 the company expanded the shop by adding 2,500 Sq. Ft. Also in 1987 Gary's son Todd Heller entered the machining bussiness
1990: Gary's youngest son Brian graduated and also joined the family business
1998: The company added another 4,000 Sq. Ft. to the shop bringing the total square footage to 10,500 sq. ft.
2004: The company again added on to their shop with an additional 6,500 sq. ft. For a total square footage of 17,000 sq. ft.
2009: The company purchased more land and constructed a new 13,000 sq. ft. steel building bringing the grand total square footage to 30,000 sq ft.
Present: The company is still owned by Gary & Jean Heller, with most of the day to day operations handled by Todd Heller as Plant Manager and Brian Heller handling the shipping & receiving department.
